WORCESTER SKATE CENTRE
We want to build an indoor skatepark in Worcester UK
It's been far too many years since Worcester and the surrounding areas had a safe indoor space for wheeled sports. While the existing outdoor facilities are well-loved, our belief is that an indoor facility will allow people to skate all year round, bring new people in to the sport, and improve the overall scene.
Our mission is to provide a facility where people can learn, practice and develop skateboarding, rollerblading, quads and scooters, with a focus on design - meaning that it is suitable for beginners as well as experienced riders.
This facility will enable persons of any age, gender, background or sexual orientation to have a space to learn. The primary focus of the timetable will be on lesson-based learning, but with open sessions also planned in to enable self-practice for those already able to skate. This will include specific sessions aimed at women and minorities.

Want to start learning to skate now, and can't wait until the park is open?
We can arrange small group or private 1-2-1 lessons at local parks to get you started.
We will even provide a board and pads for you to borrow if you need them.
All lesson fees will be donated to the park fund to help get us off the ground.
